Studies such as the one from the University of California at Santa Barbara have predicted that women can
predict good dads, lovers on looks alone. I have concluded I can judge the same from how men treat my
dog, the worlds cutest smoosh faced brindle boxer, Ella Mae.
Ella (who probably thinks I’m slutty) has helped me discover characteristics that I want verse don’t want in
the cowboys I bring back to the LQ trailer. Thanks to her I am able to judge if he is a keeper or a one night
don’t ask for my number….. puh-lease…. kind of guy! She is very friendly and wiggles her nub at everyone’s
feet, begging to say hello. If a man cares about impressing me he should defiantly reach down and pet her.
Ignore my Ella dog and you aren’t going to get much further. I am not sure what type of person can resist at
least smirking at her wiggly butt and snorting, I am so ugly I am cute, face!
If he is considerate of things I care about….
when she is begging at his feet he will tear off a bite of his pulled pork sandwich and throw it to her.
If he is polite….
he will ask me if I feed my dog “people” food prior to tossing her the bite.
If he is caring….
he will offer to let her outside and back in at 2 a.m. Hey, just maybe he will get up with a crying newborn in
the middle of the night!
If he has a great sense of humor….
he will laugh at the annoying, yet funny things she does; such as trying to dance with us (which actually
looks more like she is humping my leg because she grabs on to my thigh with her two front paws- they don’t
call them boxers for nothing)!
If he is easy going….
he won’t turn her spreading trash across the living room while we were out into a full out screaming match.
A man show’s he is willing to compromise if instead of making her an outside dog (which I would actually
find it easier to get a new bf) he suggests a trash can with a lid.
